ECOTOURISM IS MORE THAN JUST VISITING
Dedicated to educating travelers in responsible and sustainable tourism.
Zimbabwe School Feeding Program
A severe drought is underway in Zimbabwe and we expect there to be food shortages throughout the region this dry season. Here's how we can help.
Through Responsible Travel
Culturally and environmentally responsible tourism can be a powerful force of change for many people. Tourism can benefit local communities, increase goodwill between hosts and guests, and stimulate authentic cross-cultural interactions.
Travelers Code of Ethics
Because no one wants to damage the very environment they have traveled to see, the Travelers Conservation Trust encourages all travelers to follow the Travelers Code of Ethics. These guidelines will help you interact with nature responsibly, and enhance your experience while you travel.
A personal highlight of our trip was bringing sporting equipment and school supplies to kids. Being able to give back and interact with local children is wonderful.
Thank you for helping us make the donation to the school children. It was absolutely one of my favorite days in Nicaragua. The people of the Islands of Lake Nicaragua - Islets of Granada was so fascinating.
At the Bwindi orphans school we dropped off all our daughters' clothes for them to use. I took the sneakers off my feet to donate to them, as well. The 250 or so orphans sang and danced for us. I am considering how to help them build a permanent building for their new school.
